Is the new Star Trek using Spock to carry Jewish heritage into space?

The one thing I have always loved about Star Trek is that it's about the future, when all men and women are joined together without the bullshit of racial restrictions, no poverty, no wars on Earth over petty bullshit land boundaries or religious wars killing people in the name of imaginary Gods from books written thousands of years ago....

Ahh, if we could only live as long to see those days, but most likely we'll kill ourselves off because we are a moron species.

O.k., back to my point....Yes, we all love Star Trek.

So why in the fuck does J.J. Abrams and the other 'powers that be' in Hollywood deem it necessary to give the new Spock a curly set of mini Jewish locks, where his side burns should be?

I know "the Jews" own Hollywood now, and most major actors are Jewish, even the new Spock is Jewish, (Zach Quinto) hey, no big deal, more power to them and it's none of my business.

But with that said, Do they have to push their religious customs into our beloved Star Trek??

There is no room for personal religious bullshit in sci fi and certainly it is not the place to be sneaking in Jewish symbols where they don't belong.

I'm not stating this to be some anti semitic jerk, but I think that personal religious beliefs should stay out of sci fi and it wasn't right what J.J. Abrams did to Spock and a few other characters.

I noticed Spock's sideburns first. Towards the bottom of his sideburns, the hair is curled and not growing out of his face like a regular sideburn would, but rather long hair curled down, which is in the tradition of Hasidic Jews. At first I thought they were trying to have a new look with the actors, or maybe a new look for the Vulcans, but then I noticed a few select actors have the new "locks" and it was not a uniform new look for all the men in Star Trek.

Spock, Dr. McCoy, Chekov all have the little curly side burns.

Capt. Kirk, Sulu and Scotty have side burns growing out of their faces.

The Torah says, "You shall not round off the peyos of your head" (Leviticus 19:27). The word peyos refers to sideburns -- i.e. the hair in front of the ears that extends to underneath the cheekbone which is level with the nose (Talmud - Makkot 20a). The Talmud explains that this law only applies to men, not to women.

The only men that curl their side burns in that fashion are Hasidic Jews.

New Spock & McCoy both have full bearded shadows and can grow regular sideburns, but didn't. Why? What type of statement is J.J. really trying to make? It wasn't an accident. Make up and costume artists are meticulous in detail, especially in multi million dollar films, so this wasn't 'by chance.'

So why didn't Captain Kirk, Scotty or Sulu have the curly locks?

Now when I see the new Star Trek movies I keep getting distracted by the Jewish implications and the 'not so subtle' message J.J. and the other producers are making with our beloved Star Trek.

I just hope he doesn't slip a few menorahs into Star Wars.
