I think that when you have limited resources, as everyone does, you'd be better off spending those resources doing something that has a measurable and demonstrable increase on your bottom line as opposed to making you feel all warm and fluffy.

Heck, it's your money. You chose to hang out in a child sex friendly area. That's your call. I am sure people don't judge you because of it, you seem a smart chap. But sometimes people might think you chose to live there for other, more Gary Glitter reasons.
