There's more to just the calories in food -- there's the reactions they can cause in your system to make you hold onto fat. Sugar has a certain amount of calories, but it also spikes your insulin, which will make you hold to stubborn body fat.
I've been trimming down for the last few months, and I found out that a calorie is not a calorie. That theory worked at first, but once I got down to the low teens in body fat percentage, I couldn't get results without eating cleaner food.
This guy was actually eating relativity healthy food, which believe it or not does exist at McDonald's.
