I read about this kind of thing all the time.
As everything medical related keeps jumping astronomically in price (govt. approved price gouging in the U.S.), I am expecting we will start seeing stories of people getting backroom heart surgeries and all kinds of medical attention in that manner because they can't afford to go to a real doctor anymore.
It's gonna be like the days of "witch doctors" again if our govt. doesn't finally do something real about health care costs.
