Your Germany stats are cool. I'm all for EVERYBODY using solar power (and wind) as much as possible for their homes.

BUT...as usual, your stats are cherry picked.

This is the reality:
"Germany is the world's top photovoltaics (PV) installer, with a solar PV capacity of 35.948 gigawatts (GW) at the end of 2013 and a supported capacity of 36.519 GW at the end of May 2014.
The German new solar PV installations increased by about 7.6 GW in 2012, and solar PV provided 18 TWh (billion kilowatt-hours) of electricity in 2011, about 3% of total electricity.
Some market analysts expect this could reach 25 percent by 2050.[4] Germany has a goal of producing 35% of electricity from renewable sources by 2020 and 100% by 2050."

COULD reach 15% by the year 2050 and currently only provide 3% of the TOTAL electricity used in Germany.
That sucks. And Germany is number one in the world.

It's not a case of them being "ahead" of us by the way. The technology is all the same.

It's just that Pres. Obama's administration just flat out GAVE solar companies money to do NOTHING.
Seems to me that money should have been used to HIRE them to install solar panels on every home in America.

But that wouldn't have made 100% profit going into people's pockets now would it?
