It's a con in how they advertise it.
They make out you get Ex: £50 free bet when you make your first deposit. So people assume right away that cash is their to be used for a bet and withdrawn if successful.
But they don't tell you that the deposit has to be multiplied through bets X amount of times before you can touch it (until you read the small print like has been said already). So yes they are smart about it, but it's still a con...
