So in your strange world, it's Ukraine's fault that they decided to try and stop a bunch of armed separatists from taking over part of their country. This also means any dumb things the separatist do, like shooting down civilian airliners is also Ukraine's fault?
I hate to break it to you, but if it indeed turns out to be shot down at the hands of Russian separatists it will be the opening door for the West to hammer Russia with sanctions and assist Ukraine on the ground. If it turns out to have been shot down by the separatist there is absolutely nothing good coming out of it for Russia.
