It doesn't wash. Your 'point' is a non-starter. Multi-award winning OSCAR winners have turned down roles because they weren't comfortable with this thing or that. Some don't want their careers to be typecast. Has nothing at all to do with their acting ability, ie: how good they are at their craft.
