Well, there you have it.
Those were released under the name Richard Bachman beginning with
Rage in 1977 because he wanted to see if his writing would sell without the name Stephen King attached to it.
And it did.
By that time
The Shining was being published,
Salem's Lot was already on the shelf, he was working on
The Stand and
Carrie was just released as a film.
