You can not make significant changes all at once with out it creating some kind of adverse effect.
There are a lot of good suggestions posted and a lot that will not work. Not that the ideas that won't work here are not good either, just not for this site at the moment.
Content for currency will most likely not fly, but content for advertising, even if only an increased sig size, should be OK with AVN/GFY loosing any revenue. I think this was DamianJ's idea (trying to give credit where due) and should be something the Admins consider.
You can not devalue the paying advertisers content by implementing a program like this though.
Guidelines for acceptable content would need to be determined and perhaps additional participation guidelines would be required by the authors also.
