Going to get 3 shots of Gardasil beginning next month. It is a vaccine for some of the most common forms of genital herpes. It protects you such that you can have sex with somebody who has a common form of herpes (most ppl don't know they have it) and you will not get infected.
But if you already have genital herpes, getting the vaccine won't do anything for you.
