There is no slavery - all the labour there go to Dubai because they like the environment and because they get better wages than in their home country. However, it is true that the labour comes from countries with the lowest GDP per capita (ie wages) in the world such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Africa and Philippines. They also live in poor and cramp conditions.
