You know there are lots of countries in the world that have to deal with a terrorist threat.
Can you imagine the UK govt ordering air strikes and an artillery barrage on Belfast after an IRA bomb ?
No you cannot, and it never happened because we didn't act like the people in Belfast were less important than ourselves. Like their lives were worth less than our own.
Now there is peace in Northern Ireland, this would never have happened if we levelled whole towns and killed everyone whenever a minor terrorist attack happened.
The problem with Israel is that it acts like a disturbed teenager that suffered an abusive childhood.

The problem is the longer you act like this the further away peace becomes. If that is actually what you want ?
