One thing to keep in mind when people talk about what it is making is that the affiliate portion is only a small percentage of it.
If as an affiliate say you make $2000 profit with it but you are on 20% revshare then that means really it does $10,000 a month in sales when you include the cam company's share.
So three months revenue/profit would be more like $30,000 and not just $6,000. Of course it isn't all profit (the cam site must pay the model, processing costs, hosting fees etc) but that is the true revenue/sales it brings in.
Also there might be other revenue as well beyond the mere sales value.
