Vendzilla, an 8 year old is still a baby. It's not an adult obviously and its not a teen. And no matter how old she is today, she is still your "baby", just the way you are still your Mom's baby, to your Mom.
Everyone is very happy that your daughter turned out to be a good, smart, well balanced person. Again, nobody is questioning that.
Alot of people just think that the gun problem in the US is out of control. There are so many deaths. So much killing. So many crazies doing crazy things. Making laws tougher to get guns has nothing at all to do with your rights, and everything to do with making the country a safer place to live in.
I think that people who do not see it this way have been "sold" on the idea that your rights and freedom to own guns is being taken away. I use the word "Sold" on purpose, and people like Ted Nugent, Wayne Lapierre and Charlton Heston are the ones who have sold this to you. Am I wrong? Tell me why good buddy and lets hammer this out.
