You aren't giving it enough CO2 and apparently salt water would increase your pool warming efforts. Just be careful not to kill all of the plankton. If you can't tell if you are killing off these microscopic beings then give Al Gore and Associates a call. They will be glad to point out your invisible faults for a small life long fee.
