I told them that my traffic is comming from GOOGLE SEARCHES and they have the access to see it as I whitelabeled my site to them. I redirected the DNS to them so they could have access to all stats of my website , still they fucking ask me where I have the traffic from ?
Not uncommon at ALL to ask affiliates where traffic is coming from
They said ok the traffic is comming from google and I am not lying , after 5 minutes I received this email saying that all my PPL program converted to revshare and all purchases from users registered are converted into 25% revshare.
They are (just like all programs) not looking to steal $100 from you, trust me, lol. If your PPL was not forecasted to be profitable for them (which is WHY they are in business) then they have to go rev. Which btw, if you have promoted cams before you know this, will make you far more money long term. They wouldn't change it JUST to change it, or try to make more off of such a small account.
So instead of my $250 I now had $150 in my account , so I don`t have the minimum of $200.
What the fuck ? NO PROGRAM DOES THAT TO THEIR AFFILIATES !!
Playing Devils advocate, Programs can't create separate rules for every affiliate.....
That being said, when things like this come up for us, I will generally send the affiliate the $ even if they are not at the minimum because - Its obvious you need it, you stats and payout were changed mid cycle and it just promotes good will and a feeling of a partnership.
If it was a crazy hard, pain in the ass request, then Id say I understand not doing it. You can't spend all day making exemptions for everyone. But a one time thing, under the circumstances and considering it takes no REAL effort to send it out.....I would have done it, but also understand their point.
Sounds like they didn't do anything outside their rules, nothing every other program doesn't do by default. And Id say your reaction is a bit over the top considering they did nothing wrong and the small amount.
