I've been using Adobe Premiere Pro now and I'm liking it much better than Sony Vegas. The workflow is very nice and the integration with the other Adobe products is really fantastic. For whatever reason, my output videos are coming out much better quality as well. This is most likely a Sony Vegas user error issue, but I'm happy nonetheless. One thing that I don't like is it appears that I cannot run multiple instances at the same time, like I can with Sony Vegas, but I will look into this more.
I will check out Final Cut Pro X as well. I am a software junkie.

You will have to install it on separate drives then you can run multiple instances. errr at least you could. It's not designed that way but it has worked for me.
Edit: They may have been different versions too. I can't remember.
