Wow you really jumped the gun there. Generally you build a website before buying the hosting, build it locally, test it on a free server if you can, then move it to a live domain. If you didn't get into a contract, go ahead and cancel your subscription until you have your website built so you don't waste any money.

What kind of site are you trying to build? Do you need your own site, can you drive traffic to it? It's a lot tougher than you might imagine. If you don't already have a traffic source to move to your new site, you'll probably need a good bit of money to put into advertising, and this is only if you have enough content to advertise for. Take a step back, and get your whole plan worked out on paper, make sure you stay legal (there are documentations which need to be in order) and I am happy to help you as much as I can here in this thread, let's just start with what kind of site you are building and I'll do my best to point you in the right direction from there.
