Russia is #2 World seller of high tech weapons etc. Russians are used to buy realty on Bulgarian Black Sea resorts because it's (the realty) many time cheaper comparing to the domestic one. For example, one of my friends has a big house in Burgas only because he can't afford it on Russian sea resorts (places like Sochi are too expensive for his pocket) or even in Spain which is also cheaper.

Unfortunately, wishing doesn't change the reality. I wish we were the richest in the EU, but we are the poorest. You wish Russia was super developed, it is one of the least developed in Europe.
Also, you need to learn at least some basics such as why gross domestic product at
purchasing power parity per capita is used when comparing living standards rather than the nominal GDP per capita. It is really basic, take the time to understand it. Here is a good start:

As you can see, Russia has higher GDP (PPP) per capita than Bulgaria and Romania (and not by that much) and lower than everyone else in the EU.
