Think about it like this, if you owned (or were in charge of) a company that was constantly being sued by former employees, what would you do? You'd change policies to prevent it from happening.

It's pretty terrible indeed but if you're going to blame anyone then blame those who made millions for playing a game, knew the risks but jump on the lawsuit bandwagon because they're broke a year or 2 after they retire since they have no education and zero money management skills.
