Hal's group does do a lot of work with Flashcash, including some webmaster support. But to say that this program in any way is directed to make Flashcash look good as its purpose is bullshit.
Pornkings and Silvercash have nothing to do with Flashcash as far as ownership or management, and they've agreed to beta test this program as well.
I got a call from Johnny V about this yesterday morning and personally I think its a great idea if its managed properly and people can see exactly how it works.
I'm looking forward to working a bit on it with these guys.
