Who's saying it isn't "just a movie"? It's just a horrible movie. It's a terribly written script. It's poorly directed. Women don't like it because its a well made film.
Women like it because the moral of the story is that if you try to murder your husband for cheating, then kill a few people along the way and then happen to get pregnant, Ben Affleck will give up blowing Matt Damon on weekends to remain forever faithful and raise that child with you and be a model husband in spite of you being a violent, murderous psychopath and thoroughly incapable of parenting a child. A story thats just win/win/win for women.
