What's it like running a successful adult industry event covering business?

It must be nice to travel all over the world, attending these events and catching up with old friends...

What kind of advice would you give to a failing adult industry event covering startup business (still in the early stages after 8+ years) that is limited to covering events within driving distance because of money restraints and lack of clients?

I'm think I'm on the right track.. so far I haven't had any paid ads on my pictures, but it's only been 8 years so that's to be expected this early in the businesses life.

I look forward to hearing any advice you have
