yes, where spreading the virus could happen, or test subjects taint themselves with contaminants skewing the data.
but mostly, as if a lab couldn't work for real life testing. this isn't the navy dive tables. vaccines are tested in labs not uncontrolled environments, certainly you would agree with that.
