I almost agree - except when it's directed directly against someone. eg if I was that tool mineistaken, I can talk generally about how I despise brown babies etc. But if I call someone who is black a hahahahahaha and society had it right when their grandad was a slave, that crosses the line into a personal attack. Attack someone personally, and expect to feel a consequence - seems many are unable to make that distinction though between general xyz-phobic stuff (which I agree, everyone is entitled to their opinion) and directly calling a homosexual eg a shit stabbing queer cunt. Or directly telling that person AIDS was a great thing because it wiped out some of his fellow homos.
Funny, I was talking to someone the other day how many people feel they can say what they like, and run behind 'free speech' etc. There's definitely a distinction between free speech/personal attacks, and I'm truly amazed there aren't more killings in places like the US, where free speech is not only misinterpreted, but used as a shield to say whatever the fuck someone feels like saying, expecting no repercussions, and then being surprised when there are
