This guy is running the world, with his super dooper weapons technology....

The only reason the USA wasn't nuked off the face of the planet by the Russians during the cold war is because it would have caused an irreversable cooling effect across the entire globe and thus destroyed ALL life.

But they considered it, and that's the main point.
