Here's a few I recently watched on Netflix and enjoyed.
In a World - it is comedy about a woman (Lake Bell) who is trying to make it in the world of movie trailer voice over work. Its kind of a cool look into that world with a great cast and it is a lot of fun.
Jack Reacher - If you don't like Tom Cruise, skip it. If you don't mind him or like him check it out. He plays a guy helping to investigate a mass shooting that might not be what it seems.
Shadow of the Vampire - Cool drama about the making of Nosferatu with the idea that maybe the reason it was so scary is that the vampire was really a vampire. Cool premise, Willem Dafoe at his creepy best.
Downloaded - if you like documentaries this one is about the rise and fall of Napster. Very cool movie.
Homefront - Action flick with Jason Statham as a retired DEA agent whose past follows him to a small town.
Gladiator - well, it's Gladiator.
Glendarry GlenRoss - Cool drama about scamming real estate salesmen. Has maybe the best monologue ever filmed in it.
20 Feet From Stardom - Another documentary. This one is about backup singers in the music industry. Very cool look at a lesser known area of that industry.
TV Show Maron - Funny comedy loosely based on Marc Maron's life.
Zodiac - David Fincher's great film about the hunt for the Zodiac killer.
Indie Game - One last documentary about three different people all working to create their own video games.
Short Term 12 - Cool indie movie about a young woman working in a shelter for troubled kids while trying to deal with her own issues.
