Don't get me wrong, I fully sympathize with everyone who opposes any kind of piracy sites. But you can't put the shit back into the horse, and as long as there are loopholes in the law to allow it, this situation isn't going anywhere any time soon.

I've been 100% moral and ethical for most of my years in this industry. I've turned down generous job offers from companies I found fishy and I've rejected advertisers on ADX, who were willing to pay multiples of the asking price for the ads, solely for the reason that they were doing shit which was detrimental to the industry as a whole. I ain't got jack shit to show for that, never paid my rent, never put food on my table. And when I got burned out and sick and couldn't make money for a couple of years, no one sent me any as "thanks" for doing the right thing.

Again, as I said, I really sympathize with everyone's efforts to "cure" the industry of these bottom feeders, but I consider that to be a losing battle. So since this situation doesn't seem to change any time soon, I might as well make money off of it, as everyone else seems to do. At the end of the day, we're all in this for the money, not for being ethical and noble.
Well said. I know when I get better and start working again after dealing with my own health issues that i'll care much less about some of the ethical issues which burdened me before I got sick.
