When I have a question, I ask Zombaio. If they don't give me a good enough answer, I ask it again and again until they do. As I have said before even if I lose all that they owe me, I will not be here whining about it. Nobody here cares just as nobody here would ask for me or anybody else to be paid before them.
while I'm with you that hysteria and the 'burn em at the stake' discourse doesn't serve much purpose, I'm really thankful that Zombaio webmasters have chosen to post their experiences throughout this payout delay, as without that basis of comparison it's difficult to ascertain how widespread or systemic the issue really is. One person isn't getting paid; it could be a check lost in the mail or an account glitch. A significant number of webmasters reporting the same issue indicates that the issue is deeper than that.

I doubt I'm the only one here who was able to minimize risk by arranging other processing options once it became clear that something pretty significant was going on. Those of us who did that were able to prepare because of the peeps posting here on gfy. In my case my payouts were arriving consistently in full and on time for far longer than others here, so without the gfy threads that gave me a head's up I would have been blindsided when the payouts did start to stall.

I'm not all that upset by payment delays, I don't live paycheck to paycheck so as long as there's a legit reason and a concerted effort on the part of the debtor to keep the lines of communication open then it's all good. On that tip, I've never had a bad experience in dealing with Zombaio support staff. Jesper et al. have been consistently great with me and I've never felt lied to or ignored.

My point though is that when a company's payout rate slows to a bare trickle, communication beyond what support staff can provide is vital. I'm far more concerned about the fact that it took months for the company to send out an official communique, and during that time Jesper, David and Michael were stuck fielding questions from webmasters on a case by case basis. Where were the higher-ups for all those months? It's not the place of support staff to release official company statements.

In the absence of any real attempt at communication by the higher-ups at Zombaio, I think that we zombaio webmasters were left on our own to compare experiences and sort through ideas. Sure there's also been a ton of useless drama posting as well but some real info has been shared here by those of us who actually care, those of us who are trying to figure out what's going on, those of us who are here to do more than just vent. your posts are definitely included in that.

While I have no romantic notions about communality on an online message board I definitely don't think we're all just isolated islands without any goals or concerns in common. What happens to other members of services we use should matter to us, if only selfishly because evidence of systemic issues increases the likelihood that those issues will effect others eventually as well.

while I really hope Zombaio survives this, if it does I think it will be in spite of itself. Between the radio silence for months and the occasional CEO statement with new deadlines that come and pass in silence, this saga really has been a tutorial on how NOT to handle a payout delay

I'm with those who do think that Zombaio is trying to fix the problem, that it's not some elaborate ruse to run a scam, but until things get sorted it's normal to be concerned, particularly as some have significant sums at risk. time will tell I guess. wishing everyone good luck in getting paid.
