I tried reddit with new account. Posted about 15-20 links in different subreddits in about a week and got flagged as spammer
But till I got flagged I got steady traffic up to 10K per day for a week. Bounce rate was awful but 10K new visits per day was awesome. I think it also helped with google as page got better rankings (or maybe it was just a coincidence).
