that's exactly it...
if mac users were fanatical about their cars instead of computers, it would go something like this:
"I went to pick up my kids from school
in my chevy"
"so I was driving
in my chevy, and this guy almost crashed into me"
"Hey, I'll be late, I'm stuck in traffic
in my chevy"
"oh? you are going to get your oil changed? I have never changed oil in
my chevy and it still runs great!"
"I'll pick you up at 8, in
my chevy"...
"I turn the ignition, and
my chevy 'just works'"
or if they were fanatical about tools:
"so I was fixing my kids bike with
my craftsman tool set"
"I put together some furniture today, with
my crafstman screw driver.."
etc. etc...
just think about it... would a normal person EVER mention the fact that they used a craftsman screw driver when putting together furniture? then why would anyone EVER mention they used a mac when sending out an email?
