Whats funny about Canadians in Mexico is they are adamant about letting everyone know they are Canadian. Hanging flags outside on their balconies, hats, stickers on their luggage
As far as the corruption & violence you will never see any of that in the tourist areas. I go down there all the time and even been into where the locals live, on the dirt roads n shit. wouldnt make sense it would kill a major source of revenue for mexico if shit went down. Plus, no one wants to piss off the USA cuz our military will come down there and fuck shit up. California will be HUGE if they fuck around.
