When was Linux used for the kernel of Mac OS X? I wasn't aware of this. As far as I knew, it's always been UNIX .. and still is.

I'm only going by what you said below, which is that your iOS professor said that you CANNOT build one on Windows .. which isn't true. I can't go back in time and change his words to make him sound like less of an idiot.
