You get that in India where women are being raped/murdered because a general selfishness in thought process .... a "lack of empathy" which comes from a lack of basic education amongst the poor masses.
The people in Julian class are the lost kids or the low class people. Now you see this behavior reflected in the western world and a minority of people treating women like objects really it makes me think China is right to use various censorships:

In this case, some minor reduction to freedom because it keeps the lower society away from social/moral decay.
But in China that Julian kinda thing can get people in serious trouble.
