basic computing 101: do NOT store your data with your OS.. I use and SSD drive on my velocity micro 4.2 i7 quad with 32 GB of ram, and 2 nvida GeForce gtx-680's video cards
OS on C, apps on D and data on E.. I also put the page file on D.. C drive is 120 GB about 45% free
