I get the point, there is poverty and homelessness in North America. Most of them are mentally ill or drug/alcohol addicts, we don't force people into hospitals like 30 years ago. Most of those people want to be left alone, there are programs for them, they choose not to take advantage of them.
I don't live in the United States, I wish I did. I don't know another country where you can live as well, definitely not Canada. I see homes all over the United States, nice homes, for under 100K. With a 30K annual income you can live well in the United States, can't really support a family well on it but if you don't have the skills or work ethic to make more than 30K you have no business having children. Which is part of the poverty problem in the US.
