Be nice to see a major competitor actually succeed or for all adverisers/users to not spend any $ or do any searches at Google for a month so they can realize that their whole business model relies on our data which they obtain for free. Trouble is that Google is hand in glove with the social sites that it promotes, and everyone loves. It's search results reflect where the web is going.
Bing looks like it's in isolation, pushing a separate web experience. If it could convert separate into alternative, then it might stand a chance.
