The movie is about a bunch of dead end desperate men who agree to drive highly volatile nitro glycerin through a jungle and over a mountain to help bury a well fire. He who lives gets paid enough to buy a way back... soundtrack adds an amazing level of suspense...
And that reminds me of "The Exorcist" and Mike Oldfield's incredible "Tubular Bells"
