Let it burn to the ground. It'll be reported as a modern day Civil War by the mass media for about two weeks, then there will be a _____________ (fill in the blank) school shooting (1-2 dead), homicide by undocumented alien (1 killed, 1 hurt) or a "massive terrorist attack" that kills 2-3 people and everyone will focus their attention on that. This is how life has always been. Except now there are so many 24 hour news outlets with nothing to report and wanting to be the first to break the story that everything is Armageddon.
Want to be successful and happier in life? Turn off the news and focus on what makes you happy - whether that be family, friends, business, a hobby or fucking goats up the ass. And if fucking goats up the ass really makes you happy and it's frowned upon where you live, move. It's really all your choice.
