Dyna, there have been many talks at UN events on climate and setting up deadlines. However I t doesn't matter what goes on at the UN if our own govt doesn't get behind it. We can have people saying all kinds of things at the UN, but it doesn't mean shit if the govt here in the states doesn't back it up.
Do you really think congressmen from states who benifit from oil or coal are going to opt to follow some UN mandate? No they are gonna run to fox news and yell at the top of their lungs that the UN is trying g to take over America..
