Have you listened to some of these Republican morons in our house and senate? Most of them don't sound qualified to talk about how to put pants on. They hit the same talking points, such as "Well I'm no scientist so I'm not qualified to talk about it" -- which is stupid on so many levels I don't even know where to start with it.

Not being concerned about it means you're sticking your head in the sand. I have a daughter, and I'd like for her to not have to defend her desert fortress from marauding water bandits when she's 25.

As a concerned father, are not you optimistic about the news on this?

LOok, here;s the other thing and I've said it many times- global alarmists are whining at the wrong group, it's not gfyers that need to sort out their carbon footprints, it big business, entire industries around the globe. I provided evidence here that that is happening. not one global alarmist could acknowledge that. why not?

That's the question.

And I know the answer- because they actually do not care. Just like the repub dudes you mention, they actually don't care, that's why they make it talking points. When NRG CEO David Crane picks up the phone and calls his heavy hitters inside the gateway, they will do what he asks. And I've shown above the direction NRG has committed to over the next 35 years. Politicians will get in line with big business.
