Which 'company' did this?
This thread made me remember a lovely story: several years ago, around this time of the year [late nov/early dec] I was just managing the paperwork for an employee I had to say farewell to, and at the gov office I met a guy I knew a little bit - he told me a very similar story of how he was getting fired [however he worked 3+ years at his company]. I gave him my number to call me if he needs some work & $$$ before xmas. A few days later he called me, started to work together. This colleague of mine is Still at my company [hired him officially after a few weeks] and he is my right hand since. I love him and grateful for the fate which made us meet accidentally back then in that government office..
The cherry on the top is that this guy introduced me both of my other employees, and this totally made an end of the struggle of looking for good, reliable colleagues. We are the same crew of 4 for years now...
