He was getting paid millions of dollars and along with that came the responsibility to conduct himself in a certain way off the field. No employer is going to sit idle if one of it's key employees is being shown all over the news conducting himself in the manner Ray did.
GFY needs a +1 button. You're spot on! Victims of domestic violence are sometimes too scared, sometimes too financially dependent and often so mentally abused that they believe the violence against them is their fault.

These victims need a voice and they need to be taken care of.
