Thailand - Avoid the patpong sex shows and the soi cowboy, they're really awful.
Japan - Don't romp through the streets yelling "Pikachu" or "Pokémon".
Hong Kong - You have got to hit "Lan Kwai Fong" even if its just for a quick drink/meal. Its the club/bar scene and it's just a fun place all around. But also, I kind of like the grimy side of Mong Kok (where the protests are happening) but you may want to avoid it this time around.
Hong Kong is awesome - probably one my favourite places in the world. I will be there no doubt later in the month....
