And good luck to, you, too!
I like JFK and see him doing his thing at many of the same events, he has apparently more access, but is not press, per se. Obviously if you look at my youtube I do more than just adult, and a whole lot that is focused on the politics and environment of the Upper Midwest and I'd love to do more on pure tech, network neutrality, follow and cover the telekom and internet shows like IETF, ICANN and NANOG.
If you look at the stats on my youtubes, the videos with adult industry lawyers and congress critters get about 1% of the views of an interview with a starlet or femdom performer, or a good protest clip. The youtube is fairly representative of the sort of content that we put up on cable television here, too, but often shorter form.
On the blogs, I've sometimes pushed back at conservatives that call for censoring the Net "to protect kids" in Northwoods newspapers, e.g.
How to live skillfully in a sexy culture and a harsh climate?
I have been seriously confused by industry media, like XBiz's reliance on & linking to an industry enemy (torrentfreak) for news on adult entertainment legal battles against pirates (they do media advocacy for pirate sites!) and occasionally their reaction to my pieces (e.g. this one, on
framing Measure B.).
AVN folks, like Tom Hymes, seem to appreciate what we do with video of panels and coverage on the various blogs. We have press passes for the upcoming AVN shows in January 2015...
