Gaming firm closes website at bed time
An internet company in Thailand has agreed to shut down a multiplayer gaming site at night after parents complained their children were spending too much time online.
Government officials in Bangkok urged Asia Soft, which operates servers used to play Ragnarok, to shut down at 10pm for a three month trial.
Ragnarok, produced by the South Korean company Gravity, is an online role playing game set in a fantasy world where players create characters and advance to higher levels by killing mythical monsters.
The service is used by about 800,000 people, about 100,000 of whom play it regularly for extended periods.
