It seems I need to correct your thinking
so others do not get the wrong idea about VR...
There is no VR without 3D. IT REQUIRES stereoscopic 3D for effect.
3D MEDIA CAN BE VIEWED IN VR AND IS VERY VERY NICE,
BUT 3D IS NOT VR BY ITSELF.
Keep your 3D media, it has/adds value to VR HMD's/Goggle
