McCain was born in at Coco Solo, which is (was?) as US Navy base in Panama. He wasn't born at a Navy base in the United States, he was born at a US Navy base in foreign country. He was born in Coco Solo which is - no matter what map you look at - in Panama. You can argue and debate all you want about territories and what not, but McCain was born in Panama.

I think what happened is... The Republican party was concerned that someone would question McCain's eligibility to be President, so instead they made up all of that silly stuff about Obama not being born in Hawaii.
