Anything on the West coast of FL is an absolute shit hole. Do not waste your time over there unless you want to do some shopping in the Naples area. There is a historic mansion in Fort Lauderdale called Bonnet house

Depends on what you like to do. Do you like to walk around and see historic stuff, or do you like to sit inside smokey casinos and gamble and go to shows?
I prefer staying outside, especially this time of year.
